| "I can't recommend Craig highly enough. We interviewed several photographers and felt an immediate "connection" with him. I'm pretty seriously type-A control freak woman, and he was really good about teasing me gently when I needed to calm down, and taking the things that were important to me seriously. Plus our pictures are just amazing. There was so much going on that day that my husband and I missed, and seeing the love and emotion on our guests faces in the pictures is a gift. We did our wedding in a location that had never had a wedding before (Steelhead Diner at Pike Place Market), and in a pretty untraditional format. He rolled with that unconventional situation very nicely, and the event coordinator AND the owner/chef at the restaurant were both impressed enough with his professionalism and unobstrusive presence in the middle of their lunch service that they've asked for his contact info as a preferred vendor for other events held at the restaurant. Probably the most impresive thing is the way he dealt with my 76 year old, camera phobic father. He took the time to talk to him a bit, and to make my dad feel comfortable - and that time investment is rewarded with amazing and candid pictures, both of me with my Dad, and of my Dad alone. "Myhien, I heard that you might be interested in having Craig photograph your wedding. Craig photographed my wedding in October and did a beautiful job. My husband and I are very happy with the pictures he took. He has a real eye for capturing the beauty in places you wouldn’t expect. He’s not afraid to try different shots too. He took one picture from just above the floor of the church and it turned out really well… it showed the church from a whole different angle. Craig uses a digital camera and gives you ALL the pictures that he takes. That’s something that no other photographer offered us. We ended up with about 1,400 different pictures. The nice thing about digital was that he could take as many shots as he needed to ensure that he got the perfect one. He took a picture of me with each of my bridesmaids and took each shot at least 5 times. It was nice because I ended up with a great picture with each of my 6 bridesmaids. My Mom recently ordered some pictures from Craig and said that he did an amazing job touching them up. She thought he made her look 10 years younger. One of the nice things about Craig is that he is very easy to work with. You really have to like your photographer (not just their pictures, but also their personality) because you are with them for most of the day. He was very unobtrusive, we hardly noticed him even though he was by our side most of the day. Whenever we needed guidance (like the cake cutting) he was there to help us. Another thing that I like about Craig is that he made planning my wedding very easy. I live in Florida, so I was only able to meet with him once.
